What the AI Skills Hub Offers

Modules take as little as 20 minutes and teach real‑world skills such as:
- drafting text with AI
- generating content
- streamlining administrative work
- using simple AI tools safely and effectively
All courses are quality‑checked against Skills England’s AI foundation benchmark, and learners receive a virtual AI Foundations badge on completion.

With AI reshaping jobs and productivity across every sector, the government says broader adoption could unlock significant economic output. The initiative aims to give people and organisations the confidence to use AI responsibly and productively, freeing individuals from repetitive tasks so they can focus on higher‑value work.

An additional £27 million is being invested in the TechLocal scheme to help people access tech jobs, create new digital traineeships, and support local communities with AI‑related career opportunities.
